The illustrations in these collections are free of any known copyright restrictions in their printed form, except for those by Annie Vallotton for the Good News Bible (see details below). The copyright of the electronic representation of all pictures on this CD as computer files belongs to David Instone Brewer (1994-97). These files may not be resold or distributed to others.

All the images, apart from the Good News Bible pictures, may be used on Internet sites and other electronic publications, but no more than twenty images in any one publication. Larger collections of these files must not be resold or  distributed to others without permission. The smaller JPG files may be used without copyright acknowledgement. The other, larger versions of the pictures must be accompanied by a hotspot reading:
